Very rare Teal in captivity . As of 2021 season these no longer require a permit to keep in Canada. A very small Teal and care must be taken when choosing their pen mates. One of the last birds to attain there color in fall. Thought to be related to the Shovelers and blue shouldered teal. Here at Penners and Feathers we keep all related species sperate in breeding season to ensure the birds we sell are non hybrids.
